With ample car parking and four cozy rooms featuring hill-style sloped roofs, each room is thoughtfully furnished with wooden accents, warm lighting, French windows, king-size beds, and spacious ensuites. Meanwhile, the ground-floor corridor rooms—with extra square footage—are ideal for families and friends.

Late Mr. K. Nagaraj, a humble, selfless man known for being fun to be with, had a deep connection to nature and lived by the belief that “Nature has the power to move anyone, young or old.”
A few years ago, rather than renovating his home for his own comfort, his selfless nature drove him to share the space and the joy of being close to nature with the busy world. This led to the establishment of The Tamarillo, a boutique bed and breakfast that offers more than just a place to stay—it offers an experience rooted in nature’s beauty.

The Name
The Tamarillo, an egg-shaped edible fruit locally referred to as “tee-to-mee-to,” originates from the term “tree tomato.” Today, it stands proudly at the entrance, welcoming all who visit. Throughout the construction of this boutique property, everything transformed—the landscape and the building—except for the Tamarillo tree, which steadfastly remained, allowing our love for it to endure and the name to take hold.
